How difficult is it to change them? One on my driver side is gone, I've tried chasing it but doesn't do nothin! Does the hub have to come out of the spindle? I might just have to take it in if it does...

This car 'may' have to pass inspection, and I'm pretty sure you need 4 lugs for that

Front or back?

For front, find the breakaway tab on the "collar" behind the hub. Remove tab. Then align broken stud with breakaway, and pound stud out. Pound new stud in, then tighten a lugnut with some washers onto it to pull into place.

For rear, remove drum then do the pound-replace-pound-lugnut thing.

Do NOT chase lug nut threads; they are an interference thread designed to hold. Change it, you'll be much safer... don't ask me how I know

Thanks Per, doesn't sound like too much trouble.

I didn't chase it using any ol' dye, got one out of a lug stud repair kit - I assumed it'd be ok =p Didn't do jack anyway...
