need help on why i am idiling to high

okay i have just gotten my first 2.2 ltr but the dang thing is idiling to high 25,000 rpm at a sit still the screw is backed all the way off and the timing is right also the distributor has a cap that is bolted down so you cant turn it by hand to turn the idile down that way so does anybody know how to fix this thing??

look for vac leaks one can unhooked in my csxt and it idled at 2,200 pop it back on it was fine

have you checked the AIS? or maybe your throttle body gasket is blown
