Well we installed the talon bov with the gasket, but above 7 psi it leaks. We think the valve is lifting off it's seat. Without the BOV and just a piece of pipe in it's place we can make 12 psi but we think that we have compressor surge, whenever I let off the gas you hear a shuddering noise, the car doesn't shudder but it's a noise like that. It's real bad sounding. It did it while we had the straight pipe, now it does it even with the bov on. I'm about fed up. The only mods I have are a boost controller a k&n cone and the bov. Any suggestions...

TIA

*edit* with just the straight pipe I hit overboost(the gauge only reads 12 psi but it cuts out at about 4000.) I'm not sure but I think it was because I was messing with the boost controller.

What kind of guage are you using? If it's stock, it's probably not reading right.... I've heard they aren't very accurate.

Have you tried running a piece of garden hose from the bov to the cabin.... while driving you'll be able to tell for sure if it's leaking! If it is, you might be able to "crush" the canister to get it to hold more pressure. But at 7psi, it just might be shot!
