here's the deal, a little while ago my 2.2 t2 turbo has stopped working. it sounds like it's gonna give boost but when ther meter goes from vac and hits 0 it stops... no boost i though mabey the turbo was seazed or something so i ripped it out and spun the turbine fan thingies with my fingers and they moved easily. what else could be wrong with my turbo? how do i check the watse gate soleniod and can to make sure they are good? could it be a vac line somewhere? i found 0ne broke off from where the air hose on the compressed air to intake hose is but can seem to find any extra lines around that it could hook up to. any ideas where this line is supposed to go to and what other lines i should check? or anything else i should check? thanks

check that all your intercooler hoses are in good shape and put together. if they are, unplug the vacuum line from the wastegate and it should spool right up, but be careful, because if you go to high, you can run lean and blow something up. just keep it to a short run. that will tell you wether or not the turbo is working.

ok i'll try that but is there anything else i should check while i got it out? i don't want to put it all back together and have to take it apart and replace all the gaskets again... i'm broke so... also, i still don't know where that broken vac line is supposed to go?

sounds like an IC line popped off. mine did the same thing when 1 of my ic pipes blew a clamp. it would just build to 0psi and not go any further
