What to do, what to do.......

Guyz I am soooo confused right now. My problem is that I want a TD thats light weight, ,easy to work on, a 5speed, and one that I can make fairly fast(it would be nice if it looked good too). I want/wanted an 87-89 tona shelby but, finding one in my area with no rust, for a descent price, is impossible. So, I'm thinking about either a shadow/sundance or an omni/horizon. I've found a few turbo shadows and an omni here or there but, I never buy them cause I'm indecisive(and my wife would kill me). I have a lebaron with no rust that I now want to get rid of cause I want the other car/cars.

So....what should I choose? Shadow/sundance or omni/horizon which would you choose for street racing / easy maintinance/readily available parts / work car..... In other words which would you choose as your all-around car?

Of course if the car isn't already turbo, I'll convert it.
