No Boost! Help Please. Im Clueless

I have a 1988 shelbyz t2. I was told by a small time shop that my wastegate diaphram is bad. What are the symptoms of a bad diaphram. MY car will only boost about 2-3 pds. I spent at least $1500 trying to get this thing together. I was also thinking could it be a vacuum leak, and if so do you have any diagrams on how the vacuum lines should run? Please help me.

Although the vac diagram under the hood is the best guide, Gary Donovan has them at his site "thedodge garage.com". I think that when your wastegate diaphragm is shot you get overboost not underboost. You'll find the advice "check your wastegate arm" all over these forums---good idea.

I'd check the wastegate arm first. it wouldn't be a vac leak, that would cause overboost.
