Ok I got an 86 turbo z, it has the connection for a power seat.
Now I got a set of gray leather Shelby Lancer seats I'm
About to buy off here, I know I can wire them in, but will
The seats bolt up into the holes where the brackets are?

Are the seat brackets the same between first gen Daytonas,
An Lancers???

To the floor, they are the same, so I'm good.

the seat brackets changed in either 85 or 86, can't remember what year.

87, the seat brackets for an 87 daytona are different from an 86. You're probably going to have to swap brackets between the seats at a minimum if they bolt up the same as an 87 daytona, I would also look into seat dimensions and bracket spacing. If they aren't the same size, look into drilling holes in your floors

Looked back up at your post, saw you have pics of the brackets. I would just look into seat dimensions and bracket spacing then.

Aslo you mention you have the connection for power seats. Do you have power seats currently in your daytona? If not, you will need the sub-harness (obviously) for the power seat switch as well as the switch itself. 87 daytona is differnt than 86. I don't know how optioned the lancer power seats are, 86 was 11 function, 87 was 13 function (daytona)
