Hey guys,
So the issue I'm having is my Daytona will stall out if its put into neutral while driving... I get codes 22 and 26. I'm worried since this is really dangerous, I got stuck in an intersection yesterday for about 15 minutes. Also it runs reallychuggy in reverse. Any thoughts??

Is your speedo working?

Code 22 is Fault Code 22
Code 26 is Fault Code 26

Pretty much every time I go into neutral after driving, unless I really take it easy and downshift slowly. Also when I try to back up it will stall.

It's either the speed sensor is not working correctly or its wiring to the speed sensor, or the AIS (Automatic Idle Speed) motor or its wiring.

Speed-sensor. It had a fail-i think it was wiring- The result was that car stopped as soon as i moved my foot from gas-pedal. As i understand it SS gives order to regulate fuel-so you get to little or to much fuel at very low rhm.

Is your CEL illuminated?

Code 22 is Coolant Temp Sensor Voltage High or Low
Code 26 is Injector Control Circuit Cylinders 1 and/or 2

Code 26 will cause a cylinder misfire which will cause poor running which will cause the vehicle to stall.

GhostDaytona is traveling down a dark road
for my stall out, I had a cracked piston that was blowing so much oil out the blow by tube it was getting sucked back into the intake manifold, an going into my vac lines, which in turned clogged up the map, check vac lines to, just my two cents, GL.

Since there was talk of speed sensor, possible fault in speed sensor wiring to the SMEC, but not to the instrument cluster. Pretty easy, with a multimeter set to ohms, check to see if you have continuity from the speed sensor plug to the correct pin in the connector for the SMEC, and then wiggle the wiring to see if it breaks continuity.
