Yeah the 90-91 and 92-up are different, and both completely different in function tha, the pre-89 dashes. The newer ones uses a serial bus to relay information from the SBEC
, alot more complicated than just the old school a wire for each idiot light, speedo and rpm using switches to ground or variable voltage. You could really slap a pre-89 digital dash into anything lol. Besides that I know very little about 90-up cars electrically, never owned one.
Ghost... just don't wire up the ABS
light wire, it shouldn't be on not hooked up. If i'm wrong, and the light is on just take out the bulb for the ABS
I asked about the 12 Button Nav because you said you had a cable only speed sensor, and I didn't know how the heck it worked for MPG, AVG Speed, Km till empty, etc if you didn't have the cable w/ 2 wire combo sensor, and if for some reason you did the speed sensor signal wire would be right off the navigator, easier than running it from the transmission to the dash.
