Stock Pistons for 86 2.2turbo?

I am looking for a place to buy a set of
Stock pistons for my rebuild of 86 shelby charger
Anyone know who carries them?

I can't afford 600 bucks forged pistons.

Do you know for sure that you need new pistons? If the pistons and your cylinder walls look good, just hone the cylinders and buy a new set of Hastings standard bore rings.

Well, I guess if it's at a reputable machine shop, then he is probably sure that you need them. You may try and give Cindy at FWD Performance a call. I know she was selling some on Ebay a while back, but may have sold them. Other than that, if you're keeping the car bone stock(stock boost anyways), I guess you could buy some cast pistons from places like Northern Auto parts, or Ebay. Just make sure you get turbo spec pistons(they have a big dish in them), and (from what I've heard over the years) don't by Hypereutectic pistons(like Keith Black pistons).

Left were the forged. I will call Northern tomorrow
