I drove home last night with headlights working. Today I fixed a fusible link which according to the diagram has nothing to do with the headlights. (next to battery and shock tower, 2 reds going in and about 5 wires going out. Grey, 2 orange and a few other colors.) I also removed the gauge cluster to solder up the tach points. Now, all my lights work but not my headlights. What could be the issue? I am about to check voltage at the switch. "If" I have power there where should I go next?

False alarm guys. I traced the wires down to the dimmer switch on the steering column and found the connector was not pushed in all the way so the terminals were not making contact. Simple fix.
