Yes the A/C belt will have to come off. That's easy though, it takes like 2 minutes.
The whole job shouldn't take more than 10-15 min.
Loosen the A/C tensioner pulley, between the compressor and the crank pulleys. The belt should come off pretty easily.
Next, there should be a bolt on the alternator belt tensioner. You can find this bolt on the right side of the alternator(your left). Loosen this bolt, do not take it out.
Next, facing the front of the alternator there is the adjust bolt, which you'll notice is very long. Loosen up the belt with this. Just take it as loose as you need it to slip the belt off. Reverse process once you get the new belt on.
Pretty simple.
