Fixed vacuums now overboost!!! Why!!!

I fixed all the vacuum problems and the car runs good, but now when under boost it pegs the needle to 14+ and looks like it is hitting 16-17psi, then I think the fuel cuts off cause it cuts the power and flashes the power limited light. Is this caused by a bad wastegate or what, I am new to these cars so I could use all the help I could thanks.

Sounds like you either have a hole in your line going to the WG can, or something isnt right regarding the line to the WG can. If it spikes real high then it's not getting the right signal of air-charge to it, which is the same case as if you unplugged the line.
