Hey guys....

Well first thing ill mention is that my car is pulling a code 41 followed by 47 i think....battery isnt gettin enuff charge.

Well when i try to give her some hard throttle..the car starts cutting out, almost as if its detonating?? could a low battery give me problems like this??
It does it mainly in the higher RPM range....maybe the battery cant supply enuff juice to the ignition/fuel pump......

Also my A/F guage has never seem the green....its always orange (stoich)and barely moves....even off throttle it stays there and doesnt go full lean...I know im not leaning out because im only runnning about 10 psi, and have installed a brand new fuel pump/filter.

the car doesnt seem to do it as bad, when a freshly charged battery is installed.

can an bad alternator make the computer pull a 41??
I plan to get this 41 resolved soon hopefully and i think the problem will go away.....
is there any suggestions from anyone out there, to what the cause may be for the WOT missfire/cutout

sounds like you are already on the right track.. Just a thought.. maybe the A/F gauge has shorted out causing the computer to see the short at the 02?
Now that is reaching.. I would think it would be the charging problem..
put a volt meter on the batery and see what the volts are (12-12.5v), then then start it it should go to 13-14v, average being 13.6v.. General numbers..
