My 89 Shadow t1 auto is making a noise/vibration when going straight or turning left but the problem goes away when I take a right curve or when i move the steering wheel quickly to the right.
I already changed my passenger side motor mount. I also lifted the front end and put the car on drive to hear some noise coming the wheel bearing but nothing.
thanks

Might be a bent rim. Go get a front end alignment first and see if it goes away, you'll need to do it anyways.

Is it a vibration like a wheel shimmy, or like a humming type vibration? If it is the latter, it sounds like classic wheel bearing symptoms by your description. I don't think you will notice a wheel bearing unless there is load on it, so it would be quiet with the wheels off the ground.

Sounds like wheel bearing to me. There might be some play in the wheel (drive wheel, not steering wheel). A bad bearing won't generally cause a pull. My neon wheel bearing howled for 5000+ miles and showed no play.
Depending on who does the bearing and how they do it, you may or may not have to get the car re-aligned. My 85 FSM shows a chrysler tool that pops the bearing out with the knuckle on the car. Otherwise, mark the camber carefully where the strut bolts to the knuckle and pull the knuckle off. I have seen people remove the knuckle with the strut attached, but never done it this way myself.

I second the wheel bearing diagnosis. I had a car that really stumped me. Same symptoms as the thread originator.
I raised the right wheel off the ground, started the car, put it in gear, let out on the brake slowly and let the wheel turn. There was no noise at all. It was only under a load that the noise was there. The noise would disappear when making a turn. I got a used bearing assembly from the junk yard and you can't imagine how happy I was when the noise was gone.
