Last run was at 12tdc timing, 14psi. FWD stg 3bar cal running on a 2bar sensor
Stock 2.5 bottom re-ringed to repair prior booboo.
Mods are cam timing advanced 4degrees, super 60 turbo, +40s, tu 3in sv, 3in downpipe, self ported head with +1mm ex valves, self ported exhaust manifold, fmic, 3inch charge pipes, untouched 2piece intake and stock throttle body. 91octane pump.

Numbers seem pretty good to me considering the lowish boost and it was through a 3inch exhaust pipe 3in catco and a 3inch dynomax straight through, sucking through a 8inch long K&N on a 3inch intake pipe. Once I get the fwd cal to read the 3bar map we will see what it can do at 25psi.

well, got Lucy dyno'ed the other day. Not too bad considering im STILL rich on WOT. i was only about 12.0 at the leanest on the lower half of the map. was going to 7:1 or so above 5000. Still, she posted 189whp and 201wtq with a fairly flat torque curve. i pulled a crapload of fuel out between each of the 3 pulls and i was STILL rich lol :) got more work to do i guess.

Im considering taking Lucy back to get tuned there as the tuner HAS worked with Megasquirt before. (slowmotion performance in Columbus) i was also able to lean out the highway cruise and off throttle section so im hoping to bring my MPG up too.

the hump in the torque curve makes me wonder though...

Mods
stock GT motor/heads (24v 3.0)
5-speed
SA-EMS (Megasquirt-II)
LC-1 WBo2
headers
CAI
2.5" mandrel bent exhaust, HFC, Magnaflow muffler
A/C Delete
0w20 AMSOil full synth.

Redynoed my car last week. Changes since the last dyno are: aluminum flywheel, UD pulley, cam retarded 4*, some slight tuning with the fuel(it's a bit on the rich side still), lighter wheels.

She put down 225hp, 290tq. So, I'm making more power and the same amount of torque as before, I also am making more power longer(more under the curve, which is the important part) as the car now peaks torque just under 3500rpm, and I have over 200hp for 1500rpm(from about 3300-5400rpm). Before my torque peaked over 3500 and I only had over 200hp from around 3600rpm-4600rpm.

What I am really interested to know(which there really isn't a way to know for sure) is that I'm not sure she was putting out her normal 22#'s of boost as I know for fact I have a vacuum cap pop off during the first run and I noticed afterwards driving home that it didn't put out full boost. So, that means that I very well may have more power than that!

In all I'm VERY happy with those results. I had the most torque of any FWD that was there in our group(including an SRT-4) and was only topped by a fairly worked over STI, but he only put down 305tq.

I still have to scan the graphs, but I DO have them. There is also a video that was taken of the entire dyno day(there were around 20 cars!). I hope to be able to post those items up soon....

Well...after a long wait I can finally post the video! LOL Look for my car at about 2:23 in to the video. You can see me lean in to the picture right at the end of my pull, look for the guy with really long hair(I've since gotten a haircut...I know, hard to beleive for those that ahve met me!)

The group I was with was SCIC of ERAU(Sport Compact Import Car club of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University). I had the most torque of all but one 4 cylinder there!

I did some more dyno pulls on saturday. This was a different dyno and the correction factors are NOT the same, so the numbers between this time around and the last time are NOT comparable.

The first run was the way I drove it to the shop: about 11.5 A/F on the WB, cam retarded 4*, 20#'s boost, stock 12* BTDC ignition timing, meth injection coming on at 12#'s, full bore at 20#'s.

The second run the only thing changes was cam retarded 2 more degrees for a total of 6*.

The third run I kept the cam timing the same, but turned the meth injection completely off...which netted a result that doesn't make much sense to me...it ran RICHER and made less power! The exact opposite of what I thought would happen.

Oh, and as you can see the S5 cal DUMPS fuel at 5000rpm! I did my very best to lean the car out the night before, but that's the best I could do with just the AFPR. The WB reading was from the dyno's sensor plugged in to my WB bung on my exhaust(which is downstream of the NB stock O2). I can't make any more boost right now, the stock '88 can is finally maxed out. I'm going to have to shim it as I can tell the spring is starting to get weak. :(

Here's the dyno chart from the last dyno day I did (video in my most recent previous post in this thread):

And here's the video of one of this most recent dyno day. It only shows one pull, but you get the idea. My run is somwhere right in the middle of the video....

reaper i agreed with your comment about meth injection at first, until you really think about it.

if you were using the meth as an INTERCOOLER, it makes your air charge more dense and reduces detonation. if your cal is setup to use the meth, it will increase fuel to go with the densor air charge. without the meth, your air charge will be less dense, more prone to detonation, and you will be adding to much fuel, therefore reducing your power output from being to rich and less ignition timing.

now if you were using meth as a fuel source, this may be a different story.

Honestly I'm using the meth to make sure I don't get detonation, so it's acting as a knock inhibitor. I don't use it as fuel. As a matter of fact, when I actually tune the car on the street(using the brake method), I don't even have it on! I turn it back on afterwards so that in case I get bad fuel or something the engine is safe. The cal is a FWD S5. To my knowledge it is NOT set-up for meth. IT was fairly cool the othe day, and there was a fan blowing straight on my IC, so I don't know why the meth would have had THAT large of an impact. In the summer, I can completely understand as I can do a few hard pulls, immediatly pop the hood and the intake is so cool there is condensation on it!

I dunno...it simply did exactly the opposite of what I expected, that's all...
