Hey, Just removed the head assy. and took a look at the gasket half the 1st cylinder ring was missing and the 2nd cylinder was starting to go too. So I guess my question is, is there anything I should do while the head is off and also whats the best way to clean off the block deck and the head for reassembly. Thanks

scotchbright brown pad on the block, have the head resurfaced. make sure there is NO debris or fluids in the head bold holes when assembling. I watched a guy bust a block doing that after I told him to clean the holes... I sure love "I told you so"
