some pics. of my porting of my two piece.
its cut to the gasket at the split ( OMG i ported it to much! it will never make power!)
back is welded and the bumps are gone.
dont mind the "stuff" midway down the runnner.
its water drops and polishing sludge that i couldnt reach with my finger.
in a few days ill post up the pics of the upper section. i need to finish it. the throat section is complete. but the runner section is not BIG enough yet..
lets just say ..turbo dodge people will say "its going to be ruined.. no way it will flow or make any power! i pretty much screwed it up and hurt all the flowz "
Looks good! Glad to see someone put that 2-piece to use.
I did pretty much the same as you on my 2-piece.
Just try and open the upper intake runners equal sized or larger.
You want the runners to start large in the upper and slowly get smaller towards the end where it bolts to the engine.
The reason people say to not gasket match the two halves is because if the upper is not equal or larger than the lower, you will hurt the airflow velocity.
I saw you on facebook! looks really cool either way!
