Why are you using a MS unit, i thought it be easier to wire up the stock ECU and harness to the engine and splice in what you needed, maybe its for the supercharger your looking for, afraid the MAF wouldn't work right with the system, i think the RIPP s/c's might of had enough info on how use a MAF with a SC. Wait, your still using MAF right? LOL

HMMMMMMMM, 3.5 V6 TT in a duster or daytona, i'd love that! easy 400HP!

there were a few reasons for using the MS unit. one is that the 3.0 MANUAL ecu has not been cracked, so i cant reburn it or whatnot. also the 3.0 ecu has little to no extra fuel to play with, so my headers, better flowing heads etc would have probably exceeded the ECU. and the fact i want to go FI means that a MS unit makes the transition a lot easier. also the 12vs did not have a MAF, and i did not get one with my 24v motor. the MS uses an IAT instead.

I thought there was alot more usability in the 3.0 24v ECU, guess i was wrong. I know chryslers 3.0 12v used map, while the 12v Stealth/Diamante i believe both used MAF. I believe for the longest time Mitsubishi has used MAF in everything they built since FI evolved (4G6x, 6G7x series)

rougetrip, the 2000+ eclipse ECU has a reflash option, but one of those original ECU units is like 300-500 easy. the 3.0 ecu i was referring to with no extra fuel is the 12v ecu

a lil update for anyone still interested. I have finally replaced the bobble strut with the solid one from FWDPerformace. i still have to do the sway bar bushings and buy the steering knuckles and tierod ends

been messing with MS mostly, pulled the plugs and they were black.dropped in some cheap copper plugs until i get it tuned right. i switched the MS to one shot simultaneous instead of alternating 6 shots. i also added an Innovate Motorsports LC-1 to finish out the ECU stuff. i pulled the new plugs after a few attemps to get it started and they had some fuel and carbon on the outer edge, leading me to think that i may be getting enough fuel, but the spark is off or something *shrugs*

i suspect that the stock coil isnt up to snuff, so i bought a power tower adapter , MSD blaster SS coil and helicoil coil wire (courtesy of summit) to make my dizzy accept an external coil. the blaster SS is a BIT better than the internal coil

thats top of the list for the next trip to Advance was looking at the datalog from today, and i hit 42* advance i did try setting both cold and warm pulses to the same and range finding to get it to catch, got it to catch fairly reliably, but only after some cranking, i think theres something amiss with my timing. pulled the front bank plugs after a few catches, and it was like i wasnt getting any spark right on crank but i was getting fuel. im thinking there could be an offset needed....

Unless you get the timing set right on this thing you are just pissing up a rope. I can't understand why you are buying coils and other stuff when you really need a timing light.

im going to buy a timing light before i do anything more. As for the coil thing, i would like to go FI in the near future, and the stock coil craps out easily, i figured id upgrade a lil to help, esp when playing with fuel #s. now, to find an inexpensive timing light.......

i want to go Forced Induction, an M90 or maybe a vortech centrifugal supercharger. im currently running a stock internals/heads 24v SOHC with CAI, headers, and Megasquirt. on stock internals, i can safely go about 8psi, more if i feel daring (pistons arnt condusive to boost, prone to detonation at higher boost levels)
