Not to bash you or anything, but there are a lot of companies out there that specialize in nothing but hydraulic fittings. I'm not talking about Aeroquip, or Earls's, but industrial supply houses. They also have metric sizes...somebody has to be able to fix foreign peices of machinery that have metric hoses on them!

I'm not an expert by any means, but I would figure that if you could find out the style fitting used and the taper that you could easily find the fittings. Just because they sell only "industrial" fittings doesn't mean they won't work, it just measn that if you tell them to fit it to "X" part they'll look at you stupid. You just have to know the EXACT fitting you need.

I look at it this way, the comanies that manufacture the parts are "industrial" companies, they have to get their fittings somewhere!

true enough although i had the guys at Valley Rubber (hose shop) looking for ANYTHING they had to fit the threaded parts.

im gonna go with mating the 2 hoses together at Valley rubber (i think a Hi-press hydraulic fitting coupling the two will hold up to a PS pump ) although i still have to find the metal part of the return line as the old one broke on me on removal. neither autozone nor advance carries it, but im gonna try NAPA before i go to the stealership
