one more clue probably. The car has problems when the maximum boost is reached. What shuts down the car if there is too much pressure near the turbo (in the manifold or somewhere near...)?

Can this be the malfunction I am looking for?

Well We've tried a few things:

The main problem is that there is no power on + in of the coil. When the ignition is turned on, there is 12 Volts for about a second, then it drops to 0 and stays there even when the engine is cranked. We've checked the injector sync pickup and the ignition pickup wires (to the SMEC) and they are OK. The sensors themselves are new and OK.

The ASD relay is ok (fires the 12 volts and fuel pump when the ignition is turned on).

And I have no clue again :-/

any ideas?

I just read the entire flow chart in a Chrysler Powertrain Diagnostics Manual for "No Start, Checking for Ignition Spark and Power Feed to Coil" and obviously something was overlooked so we will follow the chart to get to the root of your problem. I cannot post the entire chart as there are to many variables so you will have to get back to me with your EXACT FINDINGS for each step so I know which way to go.
The first step is checking for spark at the plugs,if no spark check for spark from secondary coil wire,no spark check resistance of secondary coil wire (250-600 ohms per inch),coil wire ok is distributor turning?
I am assuming this has all been checked already? If so proceed as follows;
1) Reinstall Coil Secondary Cable to Coil End Only, attach Distributor end to a Good Ground. Measure Voltage at Coil + (Grey Wire) while Cranking Engine for 10 Seconds.
Is Voltage above 10 Volts? Yes or No? (Answer leads to different flow charts)

Measure Voltage at DG/BK wire at ASD Relay while Cranking Engine for 10 seconds. Is the Voltage BELOW 10 Volts? (Yes or No)
Yes ; Leads to another flow chart.
No : Measure Voltage at RED Wire at ASD Relay(From White Fuseable Link)
Above 10 Volts?

I will be here all day,just keep getting back to me with your results.

I finally got there... So:

On dg/bk - that's the output I guess - nothing apart from the 1 second 12 volts when turning on the ignition.

On red - the power in I guess - 12 volts still.

In other words: There is no power from the SMEC to the ASD relay that would tell it to fire the engine.

If you do not have above 10 Volts at the + Coil while cranking you have to proceed as follows ;
Clear ALL Fault Codes,Crank Engine for 10 Seconds and Read Fault Codes.
If Fault Codes are present what are they? Get back to me with codes.
If No Faults are present does vehicle have Factory Theft Alarm? If Yes get back to me, If No ;
Insure Throttle is at Idle Position and check Throttle Position Sensor Voltage,
Is Voltage above 1.5 Volts? Yes, Replace TPS, No Get back to me.

Fault codes are: 12 (meaningless), 61 (baro solenoid), 55 (end)
No theft alarm
will measure the TPS.

If the TPS checks OK do you have access to a Scan Tool and Fuel Pressure Gauge? The next Flow Chart is Checking Fuel Pressure and Power Feed to Injectors.

Disconnect battery for a bit, then reconnect. Crank engine over a few times. Code 11 might be there. If so, the ECU isn't seeing a trigger signal from the HEP.

It sure does sound like a bad HEP to me. Obviously the ASD circuit is fine since you get the inital 1 second +12V on power-up. About the only thing that'll keep it from triggering the ASD relay when cranking is a lack of HEP (pickup) signal.

I stated that in an earlier post but he says he checked and the HEP is good.
So........

Code 11 only when the battery has been disconnected for some time and the engine cranked for only about a second. Then the code disappeared - when we cranked the engine several times for about 5 seconds... And the pickups are new and the wires are OK and... We've measured virtually everything and we still have no clue...

I'm lost already ;-)
