Well i found a lebaron and heres the description
1987 Chrysler Lebaron. It has the 2.2 Turbo motor in it.I am trying to find out the actual mileage and will post up when I find out for sure.It is my parents car and has been sitting for at least a year or more.It needs work for sure.My bro-inlaw pulled the plugs and said there was antifreeze when he pulled one of the plugs but only one cylinder had antifreeze in it.So probably a head gasket, but I am not sure.It will need a battery and tires

So whats your guy's take on this ... i could get it for prob $300

Definately sounds like a headgasket. I would drain the oil to see if there was milkshake there. If so get ready to polish/turn the crank and replace ALL bearings. If not then you could probably just change the headgasket and drive it.

for the price I've seen on parts for ya'lls cars I wouldn't turn a crank....just buy a new one

Man I wish I could get good parts for my car for some of the prices I've seen.

It's highly possible its the headgasket. Pull the head and if the gasket is all intact, then have the head checked out to make sure it isn't warped. Drain your oil in a clean container, if there is a two part fluids(oil/anti-freeze) then just pull the engine. Replace Bearings, seals, rings, have the crank polished/(if needed)turned. Gasoline cleans oil pans very well(screw the cost of gas im still doing it). Have your rod/piston assembly cleaned to get the anti-freeze/oil combo completely taken care of. Buy a Mopar Performance HG or a Cometic, don't buy the fel-pro or youll be doing this again... What else am I forgetting... cant remember so good luck!

i'd say go for it and if it is a bad head gasket change it and make sure the antifreeze didnt hurt anything.

and what part of Indiana are you in?
