Custom port work for flow and fuel atomization.(included both the intake and exhaust port matching.
Intake ported to match head with added flow considerations in the intake
Exhaust ported to match head with added flow considerations
Custom work on the valves
New valve guides and seals
Custom CC work to improve combustion and flow
Roller Cam
Milled head surface

My cost was half of what you paid.

Was there more done to the head you had done than you mention cause if not I think that's a bit high.
I had "custom" valve work
cumbustion chamber work
5 angle valve job
High rmp lifters
i had to get both stem holes grill new head had none
Also one of the head bolt holes was off and rubbing so it had to be re-drilled

$2500 is cost of new head, machine work, and parts.

Work was done in a race engine machine shop, so i am sure prices are going to be higher than most.

seems like the company name is 909 raceparts, not the head itself, looks like a 782 head, could be a good buy though..check it out and let me know

Because some people won't do their own homework

Anyone know who does porting on heads where the price is reasonable? I know Wallace does complete heads but I don't need that just alittle porting and sense I dont know of any figured i'd ask!

Buy me the head, I'll do the homework!! J/K I think I might buy one. It's kind of a good deal that they are sold bare. That way you can use your own choice of valves, springs, cam, etc.

I am sure LW has more economical portwork if you ask.

I would reccomend MPG Mike as I have seen his work 1st hand and he does a decent job with people reporting good results afterwards.

MPGMIKE did mine. He's got some interesting ideas and focuses not only on power but economy. You tell him what your goals are and he'll do the head for you.

My goals were modest as it's a show car but I'll be driving it. I wanted to make around 200HP or so but get great mileage. This head does that and more.
