for the past few days my Turbo I hasnt been starting properly, when I start the car it wont idle right away I have to give it a little gas usually 1500RPM and then slowly let off the gas until the engine idles out at the factory 900RPM spec. I gapped the sparkplugs to .33 like recommended, and the engine ran a little better, and then the next day it started again to do the same thing..i have known the car to need a rotor replacement and wires but could this be my problem, the car has been retimed and everything is up to spec..what could be casing the difficult starting? one thing that i dont have in right now is an air filter could this be causing the cold start problem?

Sounds like a Dirty Throttle Plate/AIS Problem.
I would start by Cleaning the Throttle Plate,AIS Housing in the TB and the AIS Pintle.
Other Syptoms of this would be Stalling on Decel or when the A/C Compressor Engages.
Not Having an Air Filter will eventually cause other Bigger Problems depending on the Conditions in your area, you are allowing Dirt and Debris to enter the Engine.

well it cant possibly be the air conditioning compressor because I removed it, it, last time i took a look my throttle body was very clean, but i will remove it again and take a look just in case, i am going to put in an air filter might stop the cold start problem, what is the AIS motor?

It looks like I spoke too soon my car still dies the first couple times i start it also so the ais motor did not fix it.
The ais is on the throttle body and controls the idle speed
