I used a 3/8" Air comp. filter as my catch can, can't wait to see how it works.

Mine is a Campbell Hausford or CH bought in Canada, ran me $31 CDN at TSC store. I read that Home depot in the US sells Amflo 3/8" Air comp filters for $20+ US. You will also need 2x 3/8 npt- 3/8" barbed fittings (brass or pvc).
I used an exhaust expanding joint that goes 2 1/4- 2 3/8 (because the Accel air filter I am getting is 2 3/8 flanged), I drilled the joint to 3/8" and JB welded in a 3/8" brass barb-barb fitting (sawed half of one side). And used a 3/8" npt- barb (pvc) and plugged it into the PCV tee with some rubber contact cement.

Tom that looks great! I may skip on the chrome/polished unit from FWD-P and go that route - Thanks for posting

Ya, I have not tested it out, but this is how the SRT-4 guys have some what been doing it. Hardest part was trying to find a spot to mount it, I chose to zip tie it to the bottom of the master cylinder but I would have rather found a place on the fire wall to use some self tappers.
Only thing is the one from FWD-P, does it have 180* (opposite) ports or 90* (beside) ports? The guys on the SRT Forums say they do not think this way pulls enough oil out of the air coming thru it (180* ports) so they use the Greddy Catch Can. But mine is a $30 can and theres is like $120+ and I dont care about looking good so much as gettin the job done and going fast for low $$$.

this is simply a link to my thread with pics of a similar yet cheaper (read: "ghetto" if you must) way to solve the dipstick issue. Im hoping sticking this thread will help eliminate some of the 5-10 questions a week about dipsticks ejecting...lol

All that the vacuum block/s are replacing is the multi hosed manifold vacuum/pressure source canister located on the top of older log style intakes! some people run 2 vacuum blocks!

WOW, this site never lets me down. I must say us TDer's are the most outside the box thinkers, the most resourceful people I know. I think I will stay away from the glass jar and cotton, but the polished energy drink can...thats got potential. But for sure the air comp filter...man, why didn't I think of that, I have one on my compressor. I don't know why I didn't make the "connection" to use it on my car.
