aight, so this is my first time dabbling into changing/enchancing my vehicle in any way....

i recently purchased 3 daytonas, one is a 1990 with a base line 2.5, one 1989 with turbo 2.5. and one has the 3.0 DOHC. the only body i deem acceptable for use is 1990, BUT it has the most kms and the weakest engine. if im planning on pulling an engine out of the other two and dropping it into the good body, what would you suggest?. the 1990 and the 89 are five speed standards and the 3.0 litre is an auto. my main concern is having to spend loads of money on new engine mounts and such.

If you're main concern is having to spend money for new mounts, you should not do any swaps.

New mounts total cost is going to be under $50, and if you cannot afford to spend that, stay away from any swap, because then you're going to need coolant, oil, transmission oil, tune up items and other money spending things.
Keep the best running car and sell the rest.

only 50 bucks! jeez... the guys at work told me to be swapping out engine mounts and the havig to get adaptors for the tranny and all that kinda stuff would be like 200. ive got about 600 spare bucks as of now with more coming
