leaky power steering pump

my cars power steering pump is going out or somethin i have to constantly put more fluid in it and it leaks pretty bad and its always whining....

its a 2.2 TII 89 daytona cs (originally had a 2.5) (shelby engine from an 87, dont no if that changes any, ive noticed i should include ALL info lol to get the help and advice i need....)

so is there an easy fix or does the whole thing need to be replaced???

If its not a line leaking then yeah probably best to just replace the whole pump.

Be careful, if it is a P/S hose and you keep running the fluid low(cause of the whine) the pump will be damaged.
Clean all the residual fluid from under the hood and look at the pump and lines while someone turns the wheel from stop to stop,this increases pressure and you should be able to locate the source of the leak. Check carefully around the crimps on the hoses.
Be sure you keep the fluid full and do not hold the wheel against the stops for more than a few seconds or pump damage will occur.
