Gabriel struts & shocks are ok for a beater, but I'd recommend KYB GR-2's. They ride WAY better and last MUCH longer. And yes, Johnny's got the best motor mounts & bushings available. If you want really good Struts, go with Konis. The extra cash is well spent.

Auto Zone's struts are just +/- OEM replacements. Summit Racing - High Performance Car and Truck Parts | 800-230-3030 has KYB's for about the same price & they're MUCH better.

KYB GR-2 front strut lasted a total of 1 year in my Daytona with stock springs.

I'd go with the Bilstein part no. v32-8500 (F4-V32-8500-H0)
Seems like it's the heavy duty version, which is very good.

If I didn't have my Koni, Bilstein is the one I'd go with.

GR-2 are fine on light car like a Charger. Not so fine on a heavy car like a Daytona. And GR-2 will wear out really fast on heavy car.

My Saturn have GR-2 for 80,000 miles and it's still fine.
