They're out there, but the ones I'm talking about cost $$$$$. Not sure if I wanna go with a Quaife unit or try and get a good X-trac and have the bellhousing made. Of couse this is all WAY down the line, put in the "someday whaen I have money" file!

I was following a guy driving my Shelby today, he was behaving, right up to the end, when he jumped on it from a stop sign. I got to drive through a nice little plume of black smoke. Is this car still running rich, or do I have another problem?

Just a reminder it is a CSX T with a Mopar Performance cal and we just put the stock size injectors back in the car.

sounds more like a lack of ignition, the little puff is normal. Everyone should own a wideband sensor and run the engine with it. Then you get an adjustible fuel pressure regulator and then adjust fuel amounts under boost. your narrow sensor can be stuck in rich mode.

Fuel Economy Report Time

Last tank full 21.41 miles per gallon That was a combination of my 5 mile commute, a couple of long errand runs through town plus one out into the sticks yesterday. Add in some WOT blasts, and I am pretty satisfied.

Next up, I found a chassis dyno 3 miles up the road. The guy turbocharges Mustangs (so they can keep up with turbo dodges ). $90.00 for three pulls. So I guess I am going to find out about my top speed and WHP.

Well...you'll find out the gearind top speed, but not the true top speed of the vehicle. You can't simulate aerodynamic drag efficiently on a dyno that *I* know of. AFAIK it is still either a true driving test or a mathematical approximation based on known parameters....

Yes that is true, wind and road drag will be lost factors here. But one factor gained is there will be no Penna State Police with radar guns in the building.

With my luck, I will end up with another blown head gasket.

Any advise on what maintenance I should perform before I hook it up and waste some gasoline?

Same stuff you would do before drag racing it.
