it is a sealant that stays wet out in the air, and only dries in the abscence of air, thus the name ANAEROBIC sealant.

A well stocked auto parts store will have some. They're usually Loc-tite brand.

The closest thing I could find at autozone was a type of threadlocker. It's a white gasket gel type in a tube. It's locktight brand but it's not the red/blue locktight I'm used to. Will it work???

I's say no. Threadlocker is threadlocker.. Sealant is sealant.

Go to a well stocked auto parts store. AutoZone does not qualify.

I think I used Loc-Tite 510 or 518 (can't remember which one).

Here's a link to Loc-Tite's site: http://www.loctite.com/pdf/gasketinganaerobic.pdf

I went to the Mopar parts counter and got some Mopar brand RTV and anaerobic sealant (Gasketmaker). The anerobic sealant is a red gel.

Thanks dudes!!!!!!
I found a 1ml white tube with a red gel in it in my mopar gasket set. I assumed this was threadlocker for bolts only as it doesn't say on the tube. I'm sure it's the gasket maker and I've used it on the oil pump, front, and rear crank seal mating surfaces. Thanks
