i have a brand new 88 t1 2.2 was thinking of using it for my 90/91 2.5 t1

what will i gain or lose? anything?

know all about that link been there and read it, doesn't answer the question i have though.
looking for someone to answer who's tried a 2.2 cam in a 2.5.
i don't think i'll see much difference in the performance.

It Should be a slight performance gain.The added duration will make your engine a little less touquer at low speeds,but I doubt if you would notice it.I'm going for the 85 slider in my 2.5.

i plan on running a fwd stage 4 cal........so 16 psi. *edit* also i'm not doing any head work just a stock head.
sounds like i should be just fine with the 88 cam then.

why did you decide to go with an 85 slider '4daytonas'?

2.5s seem to run out of breath pretty quickly so I want to try to pick it up a little.Using a 84 445 Ported G head and 18 psi w/+20s.I don't care about the gas mileage issue.not my DD.
