get more than 100 Hp out of a 2.5L TBI from a 1991? Mint condition to! I want to play! I'll take any and every idea! I am getting custom exhaust headers made, magnaflow cat and muffler soon to. I just want to know if there's anything else. A cold air intake system, by looking at this really wierd setup the car comes with, looks almost impossible.

IMHO if you wanna play, leave your tbi car alone as a reliable daily driver. Then get a TD to throw money at. The money you're gonna waste on the tbi's exhaust would go a long way on a TurboDodge, especially when you start talking about fabbing up a cai for a tbi
In other words, you're not gonna find the power you're looking for in that TBI. Leave it alone

^amen. too many clueless, screw up a perfectly good car!!!

stock ur close to a 100hp, want more then get a car with a lot more. or build a "toy". the perfect fwd mopar would be around a mid 80's omni, toss in a 2.5 tall block, get a billet 4.25" stroker crank, some crower rods, je ultra light pistons, G head with big valves, around a .570" lift cam, side draft carbs. then u'll easily break the 100hp figure.

LoL. I was thinking along the lines of a shadow with the 2.2 in it. I found a lot of performance mods that one can put in it. I'd love the hatchback model with no drivetrain in it, so I can have some fun.

Ok, So I don't know where exactly to post this. What is the valve cover bolt torque on the 2.5? Mine is leaking (like usual), and I cannot find the correct torque. Anyone know?

x234 on the comments above - your $$ are better spent putting a turbo engine in. Modding a TBI is like lipstick on a pig.

12 N-m on your valve cover bolts. (105 in-lbs to those imperialistic types)
