"Beater" has dropped off the face of the Earth - but - I have all his crap; parts, notes, all of it. The car, the DOHC engine, the whole ball of wax. So to speak.
He ditched the DOHC "swap" but there's a lot of good info on "how to," if anyone's interested. It's just as easy as he claimed and just as difficult as you'd ever want it to be.
Personally, I'm using the DOHC steel crank with an SOHC setup - including an a670 to replace the $h!theel a604 he loves so much... Of course the (insert expletive here) left me with an early model a670 that I have to fight to get the speedo working in the '93... but that's neither here, nor there.
If you are interested in the info passed to me I will share it. Slide me a message and I will try to "pick up" where Beater left off. The "notes" cover 12v SOHC, 24v SOHC, DOHC - transmissions, sensors, etc... enough to make a grown man cry with brain-burn.
Anyway, the sun rises and sets - the 6g72 keeps turning
