Was cruising along in my 86 turbo z, and all of a sudden i lost power and got a big puff of white smoke out the back. Car wont restart just cranks and cranks. Do I have a blown headgasket on my hands or something more serious? Thanks for any advice.

I just did a compression check and got 150 across all 4 cylinders, couple of the plugs looked like they had coolant on them or seemed really wet atleast. I also tried starting it again and it started for a split second. Any ideas?

Is your coolant low? What do the plugs smell like? Gas? Could have an ECU problem, the computer could be holding the injectors wide open. Effectively flooding the engine. If it isn't gas, pressure check your cooling system to see if it holds pressure.

Plugs actually did stink like gas, I don't have the means to pressure test the cooling system. Coolant is a little low but not by much, also the oil looks normal too. Thanks

So the car seems to be flooding like crazy, pulled the plugs cleaned them, and they were soaked after 5 seconds of cranking. I changed the pressure regulator and its still flooding, what else would cause it to flood so badly?
