Hey guys, Im looking for a rare AC bracket for my 1987 Plymouth Caravelle. It has some weird setup. Its not the factory bracket so im having trouble locating it. Do any of you know where this bracket came from? the engine is a 2.2(non turbo SORRY). Im hoping this is from another dodge chrysler plymouth car. the whole ac setup I dont think is factory. here are some pics. It used to have a YORK compressor in there. Just replaced with a sanden. But the bracket bolt holes broke off and the last 2 holes are cracking. here are some Pics of the Bracket.

u have a non a/c car that had a conversion. y dont u just get oem parts and make the car closer to factory a/c just get an oem compessor, bracket and tensioner, u might have to modify the hoses but if u gotta do that, most napa's can custom make hoses. while ur at it get a 134 compressor then run 134a cheap freon

Already converted to 134a. the Freon valves are on the sanden compressor not in the lines like other chryslers. Anybody else have any ideas? If i can only find that bracket!

I like the idea of converting to a Chrysler system. It would be CHEAPER to do and then you'll have common parts. You are not going to have an easy time finding that bracket. That's definitely an aftermarket installation. Try going to places that install A/C. You might get lucky and find a shop that could find that bracket. But look at this: what's to say if you find another bracket, it wont break again?
