i run a 93 shadow on a dirt track friday nights and after all the work we do we continue to get beaten by damm cavi'snow stock i believe we have like 85hp and they have 120 so even stock their cars will run with the ones we build to pass tech after tech proved to be a joke we built a engine that was pretty bad but still halfway down the stretch they start to pull away.any advice on what things we can do w/o adding turbo,or running a quad4 to beat those stupid chevys

it feels horrible to follow a chevy week after week
we have one of 3 dodges out of 40 cars please help

sorry but the quad4s rule our local dirt too

occasionally a 2.o probe or neon is in the top 3; otherwise its grand ams and calais'

hey some of those Q4s were 180-190 Hp stock ; thats tough to make up with a 2.2 %)

same deal at our local dirt track except instead of calling it ministock it should be called mustangs unlimited.if you are not running a blue oval pony car, you might as well stay home and put it in the derby.hard to compete with a rear wheel drive car on a dirt track no matter how much power you have

just a thought...if you have a stick car, might wanna find an a-555. they seem to be geared kinda low. my daytona is turnin' about 2500rpm at 60 ish in 5th. runnin a lower gear can compensate for less power. just make sure you have some high clearances in the motor so she will scream or else kaboom
