You can get home by runnning a 12V wire to the positive side of your coil. But don't leave it there when the engine isn't running.

Problem could be caused by nemerous things.

1. Remove distributor cap and check if the rotor is turning. I've stripped the teeths off the intermediate shaft which causes the rotor to stop turning. When the rotor isn't turning the HEP doesn't send signal to the computer which in turn doesn't power up the coil or fuel Pump.

2. Reset your Computer and then try a different power module or SMEC.

That's what comes up to mind right now.

even if the intermediate shaft teeth are broken (mine were last summer), you will still hear your fuel pump cycle when the key is turned to the 'ON' postion...if you do not hear this, it likely the Auto Shutdown Relay (ASD), or a wire going to or from it.

You say you turn try to start and "nothing"
The engine does turn over right ?

Did you check spark at the spark plug wires? With The 12V going to the coil and the rotor turning you should have spark at the spark plug wires. . The car should start...I don't get it. Have you checked the injectors to see if they were getting voltage and getting grounded with a multimeter ?

I bet you can make this sucker spark. The 12V wire got me home. The logic module replacement was my long term solution in my case.

The pump's working cause you said it runs for a sec. then stops, that's normal. The ASD is priming the system. Try swaping out the Hall Effect, they are the most coming problem, ignition wise, that have found.

OK here's a longshot. Have you taken the toming cover off to make sure the belt is moving and/or the distributor is spinning.
In my TD rookie days (not that long ago really!) I had similiar issues that I couldn't for the life of me figure out why the car wouldn't start. Turns out I stripped about 20 teeth off the timing belt so it was just sitting in place while the crank sprocket spun inside it. I tried EVERYTHING before going to that. I posted my issues on the SDML and even had Dave Zelkowski offer to come over on a Saturday. Fortunately for me I came to my senses before then and figured it out. I still feel foolish for not figuring it out sooner but I would have never lived it down to have Mr. Super 60 at my house tell me I need a $20 timing belt.
