Just would like to know, what is the highest safe rpm we can get out of our 2.2L & 2.5L? Just want to know highest I can go before shifting? Want to play around.

At the most, I wouldn't pass 6K rpm. I always shift about 5 or 5.5K rpm in race mode. There isn't alot of power to be had above that. If you just want to rev the crap out of your engine, the computer will not let you go further then 6.5K rpm, which happens to be the factory rev limiter.

By all means, take it to the rev limiter. What is it, 6650? Not much point in that, though, unless you've made mods to massively improve the high rpm breathing. Stock I think around 5600 is optimum shift point for acceleration. You'll probably also want some stronger valve springs. There's beenan interesting thread on TeamOmni about this subject recently. Might want to look in the archives.
