You'd could make plenty of horsepower for easier if you just keep your turbo 2.2. But to answer the question is yes it can be done. It'd take alot of fabrication though

yea but i think its the same as a neon bottom end. it shouldnt be any harder than that

I had an 03 Evo; very nice motor. You must really love the Charger body to even consider that swap. What a great car if you put it inline and made it strictly rear wheel!

If you happen upon a wrecked Evo and have an Omni body then it would be cool. That is how the Civette and the recent SRT-4 1987 Town&Country came about. Right now there is a guy on neons.org putting a Turbo AWD Eclipse drivetrain in a neon shell. Crazy projects like these are really cool but only about 1/4 get finished from what I have seen.
