Most likely been beat to death, but my 85 Digital gauge Lebaron never moved off the notch above low. Even with a new sending unit. Cold or hot didn't matter.
Hooked up a Sunpro for 21 bucks tonight 60 lbs cold idle
15 psi HOT idle. 30 crusing at 65. 55ish at WOT under boost. 126,000 miles.
I would say that motor is still pretty tight.
Do your self a favor before you start going crazy like me and thinking bad motor or oil pump. The gauge saved me a lot of time and money.

The blue baron stays original.

i have an autometer with an electronic sending unit, but i think thats gotta be better than stock equipment. anythings better than stock, they are just dummy gauges, pretty much a green for go and a red for "NO".

Those factory gauges are crazy wish I knew 10-15 years ago...

I guess when I started the Lebaron last night the oil was still warm because I went out and started it this morning cold pressure was over 70 PSI. With 126,000 miles and 22 years that boggles my mind.
