Car: 1986 Omni GLHT

Goals: Basically, I'm shooting for 225-275 WHP, or a mid/high 12 second car. Whichever.

I'm composing a checklist/partslist so I can lay everything out there, and get feedback from the experienced members here who've built fast Dodges.

*I have a complete donor engine/A555 from my '88 Shelby Z (TII).

-Pistons: Forged? thoughts?
-Clutch: Ceramic 4-puck from TU
-Turbo: Rebuilt Garret from car, looking at 18-20 psi
-Braided turbo lines all around
-Intercooler: ebay special (we'll see)
-Injectors: +40's.
-3 Bar MAP.
-AFPR
-ARP studs, and bolts, all around.
-Exhaust: 2.5" right now, probably go 3" turbo back, with muffler, no cat.
-Polybushing motormounts, all around.
-Walbro 255 fuel pump
-Calibration: Stage 3+ for '88 electronics
-Newer Omni/Horizon axels


Thoughts?

What am I leaving out? Thoughts, and advice is welcomed.

What's a realistic budget here?

you nailed it. thats a 12.xxx in an omni right there (even on drag radials). let us know the results.
