in my convertion from n/a to turbo a friend said i should put a T off of the oil sending unit and feed the turbo that way instead of boreing a hole in the block. what do you guys think about that? also does the oil return line go into the oil pan.

one more ? what is the best way to put the motor back in the daytona? put the whole thing together block, head, manafolds, turbo, trany and drop it in. or is better to leave some things off untill the motor is in. thanks for any help.

Oil return can be made out of half inch heater hose. To attach it to the oil pan you take it off and drill a hole and tap it out and put a half inch brass or whatever half inch nipple you can find thats metal.

Now on 2.2 and 2.5 motors I believe there is a piece on the block just above the oil pan mounting surface where the oil drain goes, not sure if it is there on a non turbo block, if not drill the pan.

The oil T off the sending unit will be ok.

If you have an automatic its probably easier to leave the trans in the car and manual might be a bit harder but could possible be done if you are a quick thinker and have a cherry picker or engine hoist.
