I want to put a srt4 motor in my neon. How much would just the motor cost? What about with the turbo and the intercooler?

it will cost a lot. and even more for a turbo, innercooler and conversion parts.

it would be a lot cheaper to just buy one instead of trying to build one.

neons.org is a good resource for that kind of info. There are some people that have done the swap already and would be able to help you out.

97neon, where are you from in Kansas? I saw a guy who took his 1st gen neon and did a turbo swap over on it, and it started out N/A and a 2.0. Was a really nice looking setup.

www.neons.org • View forum - Engine Swap

There is currently 1 SRT-4 engine for sale on ebay that I could find with a starting bid of $1999. Building an engine with SRT internals is also a cheap and easy solution. Go join neons.org and read all the stickies before asking a single question.

Where at just outside of Wichita? I am from the McPherson/Newton area, and my fiance is from the Andover/Rose Hill area. I actually kinda spend quite a bit of time down there.
