94 dodge ram 1500 4x4

i have a 94 dodge ram 1500 5.2l 518 trans. The truck it is sluggish i thought it might be transmission. Then i took someone to see if they knew problem they said it seems to be like the engine. The truck shifts fine just sluggish and it is in all gears not just one so i don't think it is the transmission and i also tried to brake torque it for the hell of it. It will sit up but not spin the tires and another thing when it does shift sometimes the rpms go up high then shifts but doesnt shift hard

to let you know i changed transmission fluid couple of days ago and still do same thing nothing in pan, motor oil not to many miles on it
