i have a 91 dodge daytona shelby 2.5 turbo and i have been trying to replace the cheap stamped thermostat housing with a cast one but have had little luck finding one. i went to advance auto and o'rielly's and niether store had one on record for the turbo engine. the guy at o'riell's showed me the picture of the housing for a n/a engine and it was a little different. it had a chamber before the hose nipple. would this one still work on my car?

Get a billet one from one of the vendors. I have one and I love it. They have an oring seal instead of a gasket. And they are so pretty looking.

In that aspect yes as far as exterior accessories they are the same basically the only differences are the calibration, the crank, and the pistons.

Yes they are- but I am sure the 91 has the ignition coil bolted onto it and you need the 2 special studs from the vendor. Call in your order to make sure.

Have them search for "water outlet" for whatever reason they don't list it as a thermostat housing.
