I borrowed my friend's dad's engine lift to take out my engine/trans and couldn't get one of the 4 pins in for the support legs. When I popped the tranny mount loose, the engine fell and knocked the lift over. Remember there's 4 pins for a reason. Once I got the 4th pin in, everything worked fine.

Glad no one was trying to watch clearances from the bottom! Just a long as no one got hurt, the rest can be fixed or replaced.

No damage whatsoever. My problem of the engine being stuck in there was quickly fixed. Then I just pulled it out the top. I was working alone, there's never anyone at my house to help me. Friends only come over when I was doing something major, but I got it down so I could do most anything by myself on my car and in good time, too.

AMEN to that, unless they really know what they are doing and aren't asking "what does this thing do?"
