Okay almost ready to pull the motor for her rebuild. I am dropping the block off the middle of June to have the block punched .20 over. What main bearing caps should i use?

Also, I am using a front mount Spearco intercooler. Is there such thing as too big? This one is about 28" long and 3" deep.

I am going to use the +40% injectors with a larger fuel pump. Would I have any benefits to running a regulator? Or is that only good if i up my boost level?

Any 'tricks' to getting this motor out that would make it somewhat easier? What would be areasonable HP level to shoot for? Thanks everyone!

What's wrong with your stock ones?

If nothings wrong with your stock ones the shop, if they are any good, will align bore the block and you'll be set.

I'm assumeing by "running a regulater" you mean an after market adjustable one or rate of rise reg. right? If your running +40% inj. you will need to control that much fuel somehow. That's usualy done with a custom computer calibration, usualy with a 3 bar MAP.
