How can i tell what size injectors i have? And what size is optimal with a t2 turbo at 15psi, What would be factors on what size to use? bigger is usually better!

All turbo cars built after around mid-year of '88 got the same 33lb injectors. They're good for about 14psi. Your car won't hit 15psi without a custom computer or some other old school tricks, it will shutdown at 14.7psi. The more boost you run after that, the bigger injectors you will need. A common setup is the FWD stage5 comp, +40 injectors, 3bar map,AFPR, and a bigger fuel pump to run 18psi on a intercooled T2 turbo car(better exhaust also).

I have a 91 but i dont know what SIZE MY INJECTORS COULD BE? I dont know what my t2 setup came off. I have a straight pipe and no cat. out the back. And a shelby inter. i think? its the one thats part of my rad. So how can i hit 15psi or a little more w/o a new cpu up grade?

You can check the part number on the injectors, but chances are extremely good that they are the 33lbs T2 (or 2.5 T1) injectors. Those would be stock on your 2.5 engine.

You can do some tricks to get boost higher, but they aren't safe (especially if you don't know exactly what you're doing). The safest and easiest thing to do is get a custom computer and the proper supporting hardware. Don't risk blowing up your engine by removing the safeguards.

Part # 4418258 is superceded by part # 5277895 and fits all 2.2L/2.5L turbos from 89 -93 including the DOHC T-3.

^in other words 33* injectors.
A good set of +20's never hurt any of my cars.
But yes a stage 3 will really wake up a car with some +20s.
Wouldnt really suggest a stage 5 on a stock set up. It is just too agressive and you really dont benefit from the cal with out supporting mods.

According to what everyone is saying the stock injector is 33 PPH.
Since I am a novice on performance mods, what is a + 20 injector?
