so i pulled the head form my 87 shadow while doing the t2 conversion and stripped the head down and sent it out for a little clean up, and got a cleaning shave done to the surface. after picking up the head and bringing it home, i just gave it a once over and noticed hair line cracks from the coolant/oil hole to the headbolt holes, i plan on using this head in a 20psi set up and i just wanna know what to think of these crack and whether they could turn into and issue, all the head needs a valve job/valves so dunno if the head is even worth it

that head will cause HG problems later, the only cracks that are OK are between valves. But a brand new head is sooooooo cheap it isn't worth it to run a bad one

Where's a good place to look for a new one cheap? Junkyard ones have the same likeliness to be crack would they not? Also very low budget here, like 3-400 at most
