Ok figured I would just go ahead and try some fab work.

The first thing I had to do was fab some clips to keep main board fastened to bottom of case.
Then fab some stand offs to keep second board from sitting on chip.
As you can see the second board rides high in the case.
The last thing to do is make spacers for case screws and a shield for gap.
All the materials I used were all found at Lowes.

For the brackets I used Mending plate 1/2x5.5x.035 You will have to use heat to bend strap or it will break.
mounting screws are 6/32x3/4. These can be 1/2 in.
nuts are nylon lock nuts 6/32
and new case screws are 8x 1 1/2.

Now all I need is the potting compound for board and sort on non acid type sealant for the chip.. Potting compound is in the mail.

Well so much for my fab job. Shell has a much better way to do it. Just cut back out of top board and remove some potting compound and TA DA!!!!!!!!!. Will have pics as soon as phone charges. Oh and I just got Polly Bushing motor mounts in mail. YEAH!!!!!!

Ok Installed chipped smec 3 bar map and injectors. But car want boost past 10 lb on either setting. Just pulses at 10 lb. Have a code 13. whitch is map sensor.

Well still haveing boost issue. But I did get the bung welded in for A/F meter and wiered it all up.Wide band working for first time. - YouTube

Ok folks. 18 psi and nothing blew apart!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well install Poly Bushing motor mount.Not to bad of a jod. Took about two hours at most. Not I just need to dampen all the little vibrations in car. LOL
Allso installed MXT L wideband . Ill be hooking that to cal'd smec today or tomorrow.
Got figure out a grounding issue I seem to have with car first.

Well fix and or cleand up grounds.Had baro issue as well so took that out of the loop.
Car seems to be running fine. Will know more tomorrow.Gonna go over all the vac lines as well.Afterb that its time to leave car as is and start working on new motor. been sitting in living room on stand waiting for me to get it done.

Well still haveing probs with car and I dont have a clue whats up. Has to be in the wiring. Will check while I replace my F--king radiator that just sprung a leak. or maybe get it fixed. Its like new. But while shes down I will continue modification work on engine. Port matching new head to two piece intake and intake to larger throttle body.But first Im gonna redo injector harness and vac system. Will post some pick of what Im doing in the next few days. Ok here are some picks of vac system upgrade and my fresh new injector harness I just got done building.
I used Hose Candy quick connect kit on vac system a VMS 6 port vac block and silicone vac lines.

Use Holly injector connector kit and weather pack connectors.

Hose Candy kit from Jegs-63.00
Silicone vac line from Jegs-14.00
VMS 6 port vac block from E-Bay-40.00
Weather Pack connector kit from DIY auto-88.00(with enough connectors to do everything under hood.)
Holley injector connector kit from Advance Auto with 8 connectors and terminals-35.00

Next step is to figure out how Im gonna go about rewireing AIC,TPS,CAS, MAP and both Baro and WG solonoids.

Just ordered my lifters and washers for head. Have the conicals. Just need the retainers,locks and + 1 valves.

Ok. Here's where my car stands now. New engine is still on stand. But car has follow upgrades and was wondering what h.p. it might have.
Stock head
Stock intake
Stock exhaust manifold
3 in. exhaust all the way.
Large fmic.
18 lb cal from Boost Button.

UUMMM Just took valve cover off 89 to swap with red one off 88. First thing I notice was its a slider setup.Humm was there any turbo II motors that came with slider setups? Guess Im gonna have to install roller stuff from my 88 TII motor that I know is an 88 TII motor. Makes me wonder about head. Any way to tell if its a Turbo head. Its a Crystler 782 head for sure. Not a knock off new cast like the one I got from Clear Water cylinder heads. Well Timing belt looks like its do for a change soon . guess im gonna have to find a way to finish 88 engine so I can just do the swap. Any one have a set of + one valves they want to get rid of?
